What is a Neon Glow effect?
A neon glow effect makes a photo look like it's drawn in glowing tubes of light — bright, electric outlines on a dark background, like a neon sign at night. It's bold, futuristic, and eye-catching.
How the effect works
- Edge detection — the outlines and contours of your photo are traced out.
- Dark background — everything else drops to near-black so the lines stand out.
- Bright glow — those edges are lit in vivid colour with a soft bloom, like light spilling from a tube.
How to apply it in TOF Fun Cam
Open the camera, take or upload a photo, open the effects picker and choose Neon Glow from the Light category. Adjust the intensity, then download or share.
Tips
- Clear outlines glow best — a simple background and good contrast help the lines pop.
- It shines on portraits, hand poses, and objects with strong shapes.
